LIM4 ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Chordy mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

Chordy is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data and store your content in your own private iCloud account.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Authentication Information

When you sign in using Sign In with Apple, we receive:

• A unique user identifier from Apple
• Your email address (if you choose to share it)
• Your name (if you choose to share it)

This information is processed through Firebase Authentication solely for account management purposes.

1.2 User Content

The content you create in Chordy is stored entirely in your private iCloud account via Apple CloudKit. This includes:

• Song lyrics and chord notation
• Set lists
• Display preferences and settings

We do not have access to this data. It resides in your personal iCloud container, which only you control.

1.3 Subscription Information

If you subscribe to Chordy Pro, subscription management is handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit 2. We receive only:

• Subscription status (active/inactive)
• Product identifier

Payment information, billing details, and transaction history are managed exclusively by Apple and are not accessible to us.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we collect for the following purposes:

• Authentication: To identify you and manage your account
• App Functionality: To enable core features like song management and set lists
• Subscription Management: To verify your subscription status and unlock Pro features

We do not use your information for:

• Advertising or marketing
• Analytics or user tracking
• Sharing with third parties
• Any purpose beyond core app functionality

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Your iCloud Account

All of your song content, set lists, and preferences are stored in your private iCloud account using Apple CloudKit. This data:

• Is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple
• Is accessible only to you through your iCloud account
• Syncs across your devices signed into the same iCloud account
• Is managed according to Apple's Privacy Policy

3.2 Firebase Authentication

Your authentication credentials are stored securely by Firebase (a Google service). Firebase complies with industry-standard security practices and regulations.

4. Third-Party Services

Chordy integrates with the following third-party services:

Data shared: Subscription status only

We do not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

5.1 Account Deletion

You can delete your Chordy account at any time through the in-app settings. When you delete your account:

• Your Firebase authentication data is permanently deleted
• Your iCloud data remains in your iCloud account until you delete it manually through your iCloud settings
• Active subscriptions continue until the current billing period ends (managed by Apple)

5.2 iCloud Data Management

Since your content is stored in your personal iCloud account, you can manage it through:

• iOS Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → Chordy
• Deleting data within the Chordy app

6. Children's Privacy

Chordy is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete such information.

7. International Users

Chordy is developed in Canada and complies with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). By using Chordy, users outside Canada consent to the transfer and processing of their data as described in this Privacy Policy.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of your authentication data
• Correction: Update your account information
• Deletion: Delete your account and authentication data
• Data Portability: Export your iCloud data through your iCloud settings

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will:

• Update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page
• Notify you through the App if changes are material

Your continued use of Chordy after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
